The SCAD exhibitions department presents “The Gnome Project,” an exhibition by M.F.A. painting student Colleen Critcher. “The Gnome Project” explores the kitsch creature from popular culture known as the garden gnome. A gnome is a peculiar commodity object with the capacity to reference the whimsy of childhood and the drudgery of working adulthood.
