One night only: New-Es and Old-Es: MFA Painting Limited Residency students showing, Fri 07/15/2011 Alexander Hall 6-8 pm
From Candace Reilly, grad painter and event instigator: This Friday, July 15, from 6-8pm in the second floor Alexander Hall Critique Spaces, the eLearning painting graduate students will host a one-night group exhibit, titled “New-Es and Old-Es.” The show acts as an effort to welcome new eLearning students to the program, and also an opportunity for all eLearning students to present work that does not otherwise get exhibited at SCAD during the regular school year. The show includes a selection of recent works by each of the eLearning graduate students.
The timing, at the end of the third of the five-week session, is a great time for our eLearners, from Ohio, Florida, Colorado, California, Maryland and other states, to present their art to one another and to the extended community of artists and eLearners.
